Today I decided to start training Max a little bit better in cleaning up after himself. But the thought of a regular old chore chart seemed very mundane and well...like a chore. So instead I had Max choose a theme of a variety of stickers I had bought (at Target). He chose the ocean theme. So we spent part of the morning coloring together, and now whenever he helps to clean up in the evening before his daddy comes home, he gets to add another sticker to his underwater world. When the picture is complete, we will do something special. So we will see how this strategy works. The goals: a beautiful picture, a tidy home and a boy who knows how to pick up his things.
